There are a lot of parents that suffer hardship when the school season rolls around. Some experience this due to several reasons such as multiple children or just the lack of funding. Team Willows felt that we wanted to be a blessing this school year. We decide to work as busy bees to get sponsors to provide school items for our children at the Willows. With the help of our sponsors, Know Your Destiny, KOOL Kids Dental, Safeway Security, Amerigroup, Plan Right Insurance, Women of Power, Praise & Worship, DMS, Honorable Women, Bunny Bread & Jump Off Lounge. We were able to provide over 175 Book bags filled with everything needed for the school year to our children to start their year off right. Our children had the opportunity to experience a day of FUN just for them with snowball, hotdogs, nachos, spacewalks(2) and a train that took them completely around the complex. We also offered free after-school care through Know Your Destiny and our Community Center to the parents and received twenty-six applications.
